Intazaar Free SMSes
intazaar.com.au - send free SMSes from your computer
Intazaar is a new way to send messages to mobile phones from your computer for free. It’s free because the company makes money from the ads on their website. The ads do not appear in any messages, but merely are visible on the side of the website, similar to the ads on machet.com.au. No ads are sent to the recipient, except for a notice that is sent once to each unique person informing them about the service.
There were some apparent problems with the service. If the recipients of a free SMS clicks reply, the message is sent back to the company and not to the sender. The recipient instead needs to create a new message to the sender’s actual mobile number. Another problem that I experienced with Intazaar was signing up. It took a few tries to get it going but after that has been fine. Otherwise, it’s pretty good.

Thanks for the update, Ross. This article was published on the Machets’ Blog in October and now it seems you will be able to to use 2 way messaging in a short time! However, it now appears that there is a limit on the amount of free SMSes being sent. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store for us!

You have to go to http://www.intazaar.com.au. It seems you have tried an incorrect link. Also, at the moment, many of Intazaar’s features are unavailable due to the service being updated. You should try again in a few days.

Guys someone told me that Intazaar is coming out with a brand new website. Still with SMS but also with MMS, Email and a few others. My friend knows some of the guys at Intazaar. It sounds like they have a heap of people working for them now and i last checked, over 250,000 people in australia use it. Is intazaar like Australias first major private .com???

I’m not sure what you mean when you asked whether Intazaar is Australian’s first major private .com, as there are many connected computers in Australia, with many different websites (including this one — http://www.machet.com.au).
As for an updated version of Intazaar, the website is now similar to myspace.com but targets Australians and allows you to sent up to 30 free SMSes.

I’m sure it will still have free SMS, but it will probably be a maximum of 30 as it currently is.

Also to answer your question Garry Intazaar is a medium business as heaps of people use it and it started in 2005.

intazaar has been down for ages…
so I have been using www.smsfun.com.au it works great and is a completely free australian sms service.
supports 3 mobile aswell, auto sms reminders, fool people, stuff like that.
suits me fine, still wish intazaar would work again…

My friends said that Interzar has gone bankrupt.
